Head Teacher’s welcome

I am enormously proud to be Executive Head Teacher of Slip End Village School. Our children are at the heart of our school and are at the centre of all decision-making. We ‘Learn and Grow Together’: relationships are key and inclusion is very important to us. Our team of dedicated and caring staff and Governors are committed to nurturing a strong relationship between the school, our children, our families and the wider community. We are a place where everyone is welcomed and supported.

Slip End Village School is proud to be federated with Caddington Village School. We work closely in partnership and have a single Governing Body and shared Senior Leadership Team. Staff at both schools work together and some staff work across both sites. Our children follow the same curriculum and we have many opportunities for them to learn and socialise together.

Through a varied and exciting curriculum, we aim to prepare our children to develop a love for learning and to acquire the knowledge and skills to prepare them to be successful in the next stage of their education and in later life. We are committed to delivering a wide range of opportunities to supplement our curriculum, enabling children to discover and nurture talents, practise regular physical activity and broaden their cultural experiences. Our children enjoy success in sporting events and our inclusive approach enables sporting opportunities for all. We have a popular Breakfast Club and an after-school club programme.

Our website provides important information and we hope that it gives you a ‘flavour’ of what we offer. We welcome visits to see us in action – if you are interested in our school, please contact the school office to book a tour. We will be pleased to hear from you.
